The core of our Ceramic Catalytic Converters is made from Cordierite (2MgO·2Al2O3·5SiO2), a material chosen for its incredibly low thermal expansion coefficient. This ensures that the ceramic core can withstand the rapid temperature fluctuations of an exhaust system—from cold starts to operating temperatures exceeding 800°C—without cracking or deforming.
