Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)
The Diesel particulate filter is primarily used in diesel engine exhaust purification systems to address air pollution. Featuring a honeycomb structure with independent opening and blocking passages, waste gas enters through one end, passes through the porous beehive wall, and discharges through adjoining passages. Carbon particulates are trapped on the passage walls as they are too large to pass through the wall pores.
Efficiency: Effectively removes black smoke (PM, Hydrocarbons, soot). Usually, the DPF removes 90% or more of the soot emitted by diesel engines.
